Senator Nkeze Emilia Kalebong

Senator Nkeze Emilia Kalebong is a distinguished Cameroonian leader whose influence spans the sectors of education, governance, entrepreneurship, and social development. With a degree in Zoology and a diploma in Biology Education, she began her career in the classroom and rose to serve at the Ministry of Secondary Education, championing quality learning across Cameroon.

In politics, Senator Emilia made history as the Vice President of the Senate of Cameroon, where she played a key role in shaping legislative discourse. She represented Cameroon in the International Union of Parliamentarians (IUP) and was an active member of the Senate’s Economy and Social Affairs Committee. As Vice President of the Grand National Dialogue, she contributed significantly to national reconciliation and unity efforts.

Senator Emilia is also a formidable force in business and social impact. She is the Founder and CEO of EMI Class Company, a real estate and hospitality group that includes EMI Class Restaurant. She is also the Proprietress of Divine Providence Bilingual College in Yaoundé. Through her ventures, she empowers women by organizing cooperatives and promoting small-scale enterprises. Her philanthropic work includes supporting an orphanage and initiating women’s empowerment groups across Cameroon.

She currently serves as the Board Chair of GreenSprings Digital University Yaoundé, a pioneering institution focused on driving digital education and innovation across Africa. An active member of several influential networks—including the Cameroon Business Women Association, GFAC, and the African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO)—Senator Emilia is a wife and proud mother of four. Her leadership and legacy continue to inspire a generation of African women to lead with purpose, resilience, and vision.
